The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation Announces 12 Days of ImpACT Initiative

The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation has announced a new holiday campaign highlighting 12 local organizations they partnered with in 2025, designed to raise awareness of meaningful giving opportunities and inspire community generosity during the season of giving.

Driven by a mission to help individuals and families across Utah thrive, the Miller Family Foundation’s new campaign will spotlight 12 grant recipients, the impact of the projects these grants supported, and simple ways the community can get involved and make a difference on a personal level.

“We’re so proud to be part of the Utah community. The giving spirit in this state fuels our work at the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation,” said Julie Ramos, managing director of the Foundation. “This campaign is about celebrating that spirit and making it easy to connect with organizations doing incredible, impactful things this holiday season and represents just a small snapshot of the many groups making a difference in Utah.”

Organizations highlighted during this campaign will include nonprofits from across the state working within the foundation’s five pillars of giving. Established in 2007, the Miller Family Foundation works to enrich lives through five key pillars of giving—health and medicine, shelter and food security, education and skill development, jobs and economic self-reliance, and cultural and spiritual enrichment.

The first day of the Twelve Days of ImpACT is focused on food security. The Miller Family Foundation recently committed $500,000 to provide food assistance across the state, with $300,000 of that directed to Utah Food Bank and additional support for organizations operating food pantries in areas of high need. This funding will bolster local distribution efforts along the Wasatch Front and expand access to food resources in rural communities such as Carbon, Emery and Grand counties. Ultimately, this contribution helps ensure that families across Utah, no matter where they live, have access to nutritious meals this holiday season.

“Access to food is the foundation of every thriving community,” said Ginette Bott, Utah Food Bank President & CEO. “The support of the Larry H. & Gail Miller Foundation strengthens our shared commitment to caring for our neighbors and building a healthier, more resilient Utah. Together, we can make sure every family has access to the food they need this holiday season and beyond.”

As the Twelve Days of ImpACT begins, the Miller Family Foundation invites the community to follow along and learn more about the organizations being highlighted each day. Beginning December 3, 2025, individuals can stay connected through the foundation’s social media channels:
