Michael Van Orden joined LHM in 2019 as chief information officer for Larry H. Miller Dealerships. In this role, he leads the information technology and computer systems teams within the dealership group including providing strategic IT guidance and direction of the company while maintaining a stable and secure infrastructure, and providing accurate timely information.
With more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, prior to joining the group, Mike served as CTO at Sportsman’s Warehouse for 18 years. He’s also held IT positions with First Security Bank/Wells Fargo and Litton Guidance and Control Systems.
Mike received the annual “Presidential Recognition Award for Outstanding Service” twice while at First Security Bank, and he was named a “Top 15 Up and Coming IT Executive” by RIS News while at Sportsman’s Warehouse. Mike attended Granger High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Utah. He enjoys sports, outdoors and fishing.
