Jarred Black, store manager of Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood, has been named to Automotive News’ 40 Under 40: Retail which recognizes dynamic individuals in automotive dealerships under the age of 40.

“Jarred has shown himself to be a leader who is committed to excellence for his employees, customers and community,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president of Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “He’s very deserving of this award and we’re proud to have him as a member of our team.”

Automotive News evaluated nominations from across the U.S. and Canada and identified the top performers in a large field of high caliber talent at dealerships. Black joined Larry H. Miller Dealerships in 2012 as the used car manager for Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota and assumed his current role as store manager for Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood in 2013 at the age of 27. He oversees all aspects of store operations and the store’s 60 employees. Black began selling cars at the age of 18, and worked his way up through several dealerships. He attended Eastern Arizona Junior College.
