Larry H. and Gail Miller Join the Colorado Automotive Hall of Fame

Millers to be inducted as a 2022 Honored Industry Leader

On May 26, 2022, Larry H. and Gail Miller become new members of the Colorado Automotive Hall of Fame. The Millers reflect the innovation, community service and dedication to the industry that make them an obvious choice for this honor. The Millers will be inducted together.

Sweethearts since they were teenagers, the Millers are industry icons, amassing 69 dealerships in seven western states, including 13 in Colorado, before selling their Larry H. Miller Company in 2021. They bought and operated their automotive businesses first to provide for their family, then soon realized they could provide good jobs and give back to their community.

“The Millers showcase what the automotive industry is all about. Their passion and community involvement are remarkable,” said Tim Jackson, President/CEO of the Association. “Together, Larry and Gail embody the business ethics and commitment to their customers that inspire our members.”

One of their greatest legacies is using their resources to enrich lives.  Their philanthropy includes efforts that focus on education, health, women and children and homelessness. In honor of Larry, Gail is a strong supporter of the University of Utah’s “Driving out Diabetes” initiative.

“Being inducted into the Colorado Automotive Hall of Fame is a true mark of excellence. I am excited for this year’s class,” said Todd Maul, 2022 chair of the Colorado Automotive Hall of Fame. “The Millers demonstrate the energy and excellence of the Hall of Fame members. Their business acumen and philanthropy illustrate the integrity, community service and achievement that characterize members of this prestigious group.”

The new members will be honored during the induction ceremony at the 2022 Colorado Automotive Hall of Fame Gala Thursday, May 26, 2022, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
