Larry H. Miller American Toyota Receives $12 Million Makeover

Larry H. Miller Dealerships announced today that Larry H. Miller American Toyota Albuquerque will undergo a multimillion-dollar reconstruction rendering it one of the largest Toyota dealerships in the country at nearly 90,000 square feet. “As we approach 27 years of doing business in Albuquerque, it is important that we continue to provide our customers with a top-notch car buying and service experience,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president of Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “Construction will begin this month, and will happen in phases so that the sales, service and parts departments may remain open and operational throughout the project.” The new facility will include a spacious customer waiting lounge with wi-fi and a café bar, an energy efficient heating/cooling system, the most advanced service drive in the industry including high-speed garage doors, the best service equipment in the industry and a new car delivery space that will allow customers to learn about the features of their vehicle in a comfortable environment. The facility is estimated to be complete in fourth quarter 2016. Project Details: * Existing site area: 10 acres * Existing building: 61,045 square feet * New site area: 10 acres * Total new completed building: 89,772 square feet “The additional 28,000 square feet of space will allow us to upgrade current features including adding service bays, reducing wait time in the service department, and a more spacious, comfortable customer lounge,” said JR Malouff, general manager, LHM American Toyota. Larry H. Miller American Toyota opened in June 1988. The store has received the Toyota President’s Award 10 times, including the past six years running.
