Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale Service Technicians to Help Boy Scouts Earn Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge

Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale (LHM Dodge Ram Avondale) has announced a monthly class to assist Boy Scouts in Arizona in earning their Automotive Maintenance merit badges. To earn this badge, Scouts must have access to a car or truck and its owner’s manual and must perform functions including general maintenance, safety and registration. Beginning Saturday, April 11, the first class will take place from 2-4 p.m., thanks to the generosity of LHM Dodge Ram Avondale Service Director Rick Stubbs and the store’s service technicians who are volunteering their time to teach the boys everything from how to check tire pressure and fluids to performing other car care fundamentals from a 15-page auto repair manual. “The mission of our company is to enrich lives,” said Mike Messina, general manager, LHM Dodge Ram Avondale. “We achieve true success when we positively impact others and the communities where we live, work and play. We look forward to providing this opportunity for our local Boy Scouts to learn automotive maintenance and earn their merit badge.” Each session will host between 10-15 Boy Scouts who are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Required safety equipment will be provided by Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale.
