Larry H. Miller Toyota Supports Local Military with $20,000 Donation to Mt. Carmel Center of Excellence

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Representatives from Larry H. Miller Toyota Colorado Springs presented a $20,000 check to the Mt. Carmel Center of Excellence. The organization’s mission is to provide wellness programs and transitional services with special emphasis on veterans, military and their families. This specific donation will support the Returning Military Heroes program, which is designed to bring together recently deployed military couples for an enjoyable retreat to reconnect and build new friendships with fellow team members. Other services provided to veterans and active military by Mt. Carmel include housing assistance, educational counseling, financial counseling, behavioral health, career development, veterans benefits, legal assistance and family support services.

Larry H. Miller Toyota Colorado Springs General Manager Bill Stahelin is a staunch advocate for our nation’s veterans both charitably and through employment. This is the second donation from Larry H. Miller Toyota and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., in support of military members this year. In February, the two entities presented a $20,000 donation check to The Home Front Cares to support the organization’s emergency aid service program for Colorado military members, veterans and their families.
