National Anthem Open Auditions Set for March 14

The Salt Lake Bees invite talented singers and groups to audition to sing the national anthem before a Bees game this season. An open tryout will take place at Smith’s Ballpark on Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Auditions are open to individuals and small groups (up to eight performers) on a first-come, first-served basis and will take place rain or shine. It is required that the national anthem be sung in a cappella and traditional manner with no styling or individual musical interpretation. There is no need to bring résumés, photos, portfolios or recordings. Following the auditions, participants will be notified via email if they have been invited to perform the national anthem at a Bees game. If selected, the performer must sing the same version that they performed during auditions. Professional attire is required.
