Paul Nygaard Named 2016 SAMY Award Winner

SANDY, Utah – Paul Nygaard, senior vice president of marketing for Larry H. Miller Dealerships, has been named a 2016 SAMY Award winner by Utah Business. The Sales & Marketer of the Year (SAMY) Award recognizes Utah’s top sales and marketing professionals, and Nygaard was acknowledged for his role in overseeing brand marketing and brand image for the 54-store dealership group. Nygaard will be honored at an awards presentation on January 26 at the Grand America Hotel.

Miller Dealerships for many years, and with his team, he’s continued to innovate and ensure our group is at the forefront in the marketing space,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president, LHM Dealerships. “We’re proud that he’s being recognized for his stewardship of our brand and his contributions to our organization.”

Nygaard joined the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies (LHM Group) in 1996 as director of automotive marketing for Larry H. Miller Dealerships. Over the last 19 years, he has served in a variety of management positions within the group, including as director of account services for LHM Advertising and general manager for Saxton Horne Advertising. He serves on the Utah Crime Prevention board and the University of Utah Crimson Club board.

Prior to joining the LHM Group, Nygaard held marketing positions with Coca-Cola USA and Borden Foods. He graduated from Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
