What if I want to host a Private Family Screening at another Megaplex location not currently listed?
Megaplex Theatres is working with community leaders and health experts to offer Private Family Screenings to as many guests as possible under the current guidelines. Depending on the date of your event, we may be able to accommodate your request. Please speak with a Megaplex Guest Service or Events Manager for additional options.
What movies are available?
The list of available movies varies from week to week and studio to studio. Please give us at least three (3) days’ notice for your preferred film and our team will do our best to accommodate your request. Please click to see the list of the currently available movies.
Hundreds of recent and classic film titles and popular franchises are available for Private Family Screenings, including:
All James Bond Films*
All Back to the Future Films*
Many DC Comics Films (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batman, Superman, etc.)*
Classic Family Films (Shrek, Despicable Me, How to Train Your Dragon, etc.)*
All Star Trek Films*
Classic Comedies*
Musicals*
Horror/Thrillers*
Great Directors (Stephen Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock, John Huston, etc.)*
*Due to studio restrictions, please be advised that not all film titles are available at all times.

What if we want to watch more than one movie?
Each Private Movie Screening is available for reservation as a separate package. If you would like to host a “Double Feature” or “Mini Marathon,” each event will need to be scheduled and priced as a separate Private Family Screening.
How many people can we bring?
Each Private Screening is currently capped at 20 guests.
The community guideline has changed. Can we increase the number of people in the auditorium?
As guidelines adjust, hosts may have the option of modifying their total number of guests by paying the adjusted rate.
Are only immediate family members permitted?
To safeguard the health of all participants as well as the Megaplex team, we ask that hosts invite those members of their household and loved ones whom they would consider inviting to their own home for Sunday dinner. Please be especially mindful of anyone who may be at increased health risk.
Do children/infants count?
To comply with all community health safety guidelines, all guests inside the theatre must be counted toward the total event capacity.
Who is allowed to attend? What about people who are at high-risk for Covid-19?
To safeguard the health of all participants as well as the Megaplex team, we ask that any high-risk individuals, those who have tested positive for Covid-19, or those who have shown any symptoms of Covid-19 please stay home and not participate in Private Family Screenings.
We want a different snack mix. What are our options?
Each Private Movie Screening includes the following items:
20 Large Megaplex popcorns
20 Large Coca-Cola soft drinks
We ask that guests do not share popcorn or drinks to help prevent the spread of any bacteria. For that reason, popcorn and drinks are not refillable.
What if we want additional food or drink items?
Guests may be able to purchase additional Megaplex snack and drink items via our Curbside Pick Up service, based on availability at each participating locations. To order, please download and follow the instructions for Curbside service on the Megaplex Theatres mobile app.
Are we able to bring in outside food or drinks? Alcohol?
Due to food health safety guidelines, Megaplex Theatres does not permit outside food or drinks.
When is Megaplex going to open to the general public?
Megaplex Theatres is anxious to open to the general public as soon as circumstances safely permit.
A major factor on our ability to expand to full operations is the availability of new movie content from the major studios in Hollywood. Many of the most-anticipated films of 2020, including Marvel’s Black Widow, A Quiet Place 2, James Bond: No Time to Die, and more titles have been rescheduled to a later date.
Megaplex Theatres looks forward to offering fans the best new movie content available as soon as fresh content from Hollywood becomes available.
What measures are Megaplex Theatres taking to ensure a safe environment?
The Megaplex Team is implementing a list of enhanced health safety measures to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all of our guests, including:
