Redistribution Center to Receive $20,000 Donation From Larry H. Miller Toyota Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Larry H. Miller Toyota Colorado Springs, with support from Toyota USA, will present a $20,000 check to the local nonprofit Redistribution Center, Inc. (RCI) on Tuesday, July 26.  The donation will support the RCI’s efforts to help local citizens in need because of personal financial challenges or devastating events.

“The Redistribution Center offers critical support to members of our community during some of their most challenging times,” said Bill Stahelin, general manager, Larry H. Miller Toyota Colorado Springs. “We’re proud to support their efforts financially and will continue to support their mission to bring helpful services and products to the citizens of our community.”

The Redistribution Center, Inc. has a mission to redistribute various new, unsold items to community members in need. This volunteer-run organization partners with retailers, community groups and individuals to provide food, household goods, clothing, furniture, and other basic necessities to families and individuals. Many of the volunteers are military parents and veterans.  Staff and volunteers are devoted to serving members of the military and their families, providing care packages to troops overseas and making certain that their families at home have the resources and support that they need. The Redistribution Center has a facility at Fort Carson called Warriors Warehouse – Fort Carson where volunteers serve more than 1,000 soldiers every month.
