Salt Lake Bees Announce 2016 Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY – The Salt Lake Bees announced their 2016 Pacific Coast League regular season schedule today. The team will start and end the season at Smith’s Ballpark with the regular season opener beginning Thursday, April 7, 2016 against the Sacramento River Cats and concluding Monday, Sept. 5 against the Las Vegas 51s. 

The 144-game regular season schedule is broken into 11 homestands with 25 games on Friday or Saturday nights. The Bees will celebrate Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Pioneer Day and Labor Day with home games at Smith’s Ballpark. By month the Bees will be home for 15 games in April, 17 in May, nine in June, 11 in July, 15 in August and five in September. 

The Bees will play Pacific Conference foes Fresno, Reno, Sacramento, Tacoma, Albuquerque, El Paso and Las Vegas 16 times each, with eight games at home and away. Salt Lake will host American Conference teams Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans and Round Rock while traveling to Colorado Springs, Iowa, Oklahoma City and Omaha for four games each.
