Exclusive Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May The 4th Marathon Coming Soon to Megaplex Theatres

To honor Star Wars Day and the 25th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace, local movie fans will have the chance to celebrate May The 4th with a Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May The 4th Marathon exclusively at the Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres at Jordan Commons in Sandy. Fans will enjoy all nine Star Wars episodes, starting with Episode I and concluding with Episode IX, The Rise of Skywalker. The run time for all nine episodes is more than 20 hours, plus scheduled breaks.  

Tickets for the exclusive Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May The 4th Marathon at Jordan Commons as well as individual tickets to see Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace at multiple LHM Megaplex locations will go on sale at 10 a.m. (MDT) on Friday, March 22, 2024.

Ultimate fans will experience all nine Star Wars episodes in one epic day.  The Megaplex Star Wars movie marathon kicks off with photo ops and check-in starting at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024.  The first film, Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace will begin at approximately 10 p.m. followed by each remaining movie in episodic order. The marathon will culminate on Saturday, May 4, 2024, with the latest film in the saga, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.

Fans attending the Star Wars Marathon will be among the first to see an exclusive scene from the new Disney+ series The Acolyte, set in an era before the events of the main Star Wars films. Attendees will also receive event only premiums, including a studio souvenir poster as well as exclusive food and concessions offers.

The marathon starts with the Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and will play in episodic order, up to and including the latest film, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.  In all, the nine film titles add up to more than 1,239 minutes of movie content. With scheduled breaks between films, guests will be celebrating the Star Wars Marathon for more than 24 hours. Seats are extremely limited to the Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May The 4th Marathon event.  Reserved seats start at only $49.95 each (plus applicable taxes and fees) for all nine movies and also include unlimited Megaplex popcorn and unlimited Coca-Cola Freestyle drinks for the duration of the marathon and more.

Marathon attendees will have plenty of food, beverage, and snack options available for purchase during the marathon, including special late night and expanded meal options. As always, no outside food or beverages are permitted inside Megaplex Theatres. 

Megaplex Theatres is also partnering with a number of companies and organizations including Coca-Cola and FanX pop culture and comic convention, as well as the various local Star Wars fan clubs to provide additional benefits for those enjoying the Star Wars marathon.
