Tickets on Sale May 20 for 2015 Utah Jazz Summer League

The Utah Jazz have announced that tickets for the 2015 Utah Jazz Summer League will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20. Fans may purchase lower bowl tickets for as low as $8 for a one-day pass or $15 for a three-day pass. A one-day pass provides access to both games played on that day. The Utah Jazz Summer League is a six-game, four-team event to be held July 6-9 at EnergySolutions Arena, featuring the Jazz, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs. Tickets can be purchased at the EnergySolutions Arena box office, online at utahjazz.com or by phone at (801) 355-SEAT. Each participating team will play three games over the four-day span. Nightly doubleheaders will be played at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, July 6; Tuesday, July 7; and Thursday, July 9. No league games will be played on Wednesday, July 8. The following is the 2015 Utah Jazz Summer League schedule: Monday, July 6 5 p.m. – Philadelphia vs. San Antonio 7 p.m. – Boston vs. Utah Tuesday, July 7 5 p.m. – Boston vs. Philadelphia 7 p.m. – San Antonio vs. Utah Wednesday, July 8 No Games Thursday, July 9 5 p.m. – Boston vs. San Antonio 7 p.m. – Philadelphia vs. Utah “The Utah Jazz are thrilled to host the return of NBA summer action to Salt Lake City,” said Utah Jazz president Randy Rigby. “Anticipation is building for next season with the NBA Draft, and the creation of the Utah Jazz Summer League will be an ideal opportunity to see the next group of young NBA players with very affordable tickets to the games at EnergySolutions Arena.” The Utah Jazz Summer League will give fans their first look at the newly drafted rookies in action, along with young NBA players, select free agents and undrafted rookies looking for their chance to earn a roster spot on an NBA team. Currently, the 76ers are slotted to pick third and the Jazz 12th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft (pending outcome of the Draft Lottery), while the Celtics have the 16th selection and the Spurs the 26th in the first round. The four participating teams also own a combined 10 second-round picks. NBA summer league games will be returning to Salt Lake City for the first time since 2008. Many current NBA stars appeared in summer action in Utah early in their careers, including Carmelo Anthony (2003), Tim Duncan (1997), Kevin Durant (2008), Kyle Korver (2003), Paul Millsap (2006, 2007), Joakim Noah (2007), Dirk Nowitzki (1999, 2000), Tony Parker (2001) and Zach Randolph (2001).
