Ty Leuthold Recognized as “Accomplished Under 40” by Idaho Business Review

Ty Leuthold, general manager of Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise, was named to Idaho Business Review’s “Accomplished Under 40” list for 2015. With more than 200 nominations, Leuthold was one of 40 business professionals carefully selected based on his leadership, accomplishments, vision and community service. “Ty’s care for his employees and his community involvement have made him a leader in the Boise auto industry and in the community,” said John O’Bryan, senior vice president of operations, Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “His success over the years can be linked back to his values, his desire to lead by example and his emphasis on teamwork.” Leuthold stood out in several areas including: * His passion for his employees and his management style that includes empowering those who work for him to make decisions, utilize resources and develop ideas to be successful in improving their team, their department and the customer experience. * His community involvement and belief in giving back, including a partnership with the Idaho Botanical Garden, Boise Rescue Mission and participation in the annual Larry H. Miller Day of Service, where employees volunteer side-by-side in the community. * His accomplishments which include his team being recognized as the top-performing dealership in the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies for 2014, his first year as dealership general manager and receipt of the prestigious Automotive News “Best Dealerships to Work For” award for 2014, which recognizes the best dealership cultures based on employee feedback. Leuthold began with Larry H. Miller Dealerships in 2003 and has held multiple positions throughout the organization including salesman, CRC manager, finance manager, new car manager and general sales manager. In 2014, Leuthold was promoted to his current position of general manager at Larry H. Miller Subaru. Leuthold is a graduate of the Miller Business Academy and the Larry H. Miller Institute for General Manager Development.
